Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausfuehrung B at the Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor.

This Tiger II is topped by the production turret, sometimes called the Henschel turret since it was designed by Krupp for Henschel's Tiger II. The suspension in the Tiger Ausf.B featured overlapping roadwheels, where the twin-wheeled outer and inner wheels ran beside each other instead of the outer wheels enveloping the inner wheels as on the interleaved suspension found on many German half-tracks, the Pz.Kpfw.Panther, and Tiger I. There are mounts on the turret for stowage of extra track shoes.

This tank is fitted with the Gg 26/800/300 track, where the connecting links do not have holes for sprocket teeth. The normal 18-tooth sprocket ring therefore had to be replaced by a 9-tooth design. The sprocket ring teeth and the attachment holes on this tank are lined up.
