This is a later-production Jagdpanther, as it is fitted with the bolted gun collar, single driver's periscope, and two-piece gun barrel for its Pak 43. The turret ventilator is visible just behind the muzzle brake, and a periscope guard is visible on the roof. Stowage racks are attached to the superstructure sides.

It is easier to see the two-piece gun barrel in this view. The ventilator cover is located on the front left corner of the roof. Jagdpanther was effectively shaped to deflect incoming fire frontally, however the immense barrel overhang would cause problems maneuvering in tight quarters.
